Volunteers for anti-epidemic activities

@Dear Students of Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz

I have received word that lower-year students of the Faculties of Medicine, Health Sciences and Pharmacy would also like to participate in voluntary work. Unfortunately, the epidemic situation is not improving, and in the face of health staff shortages, your help might prove invaluable. We have modified the Registration Form, opening the possibility to register for students of all years of study, including the English Division.

I am counting on your involvement. Voluntary activity will not only testify to your attitudes of future medical professionals, but also provide the very much needed support in the everyday functioning of our hospitals.

In accordance with the Regulations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, participation in voluntary service may constitute the basis for obtaining credit for practical skills included in the curriculum. Those of you who are willing to lend their support are asked to complete the Registration Form below. Your student ID number will allow us to verify your application.

Your declaration is completely voluntary and non-obligatory, and you can withdraw it any time without the need to reveal your reasons. You can withdraw your declaration by sending an e-mail to: wolontariat@cm.umk.pl.

My major concern is to ensure your safety, so any activities undertaken by volunteers will not involve direct contact with patients infected or persons with suspected infection.

In case of any doubts, please contact me at: wolontariat@cm.umk.pl or wlodarczyk@cm.umk.pl.
